Spring cleaning – Garage sale for Mom

A couple of weeks ago, my sister and I had a dream come true: our mom let us clean out her garage.

We found things in there from our own childhoods — thanked them kindly and sent them on their ways.

Tarzana B’nai Mitzvah (that’s a double Bar Mitzvah, for twins!)

I had never photographed a twins’ B’nai Mitzvah before, it was really seamless the way they both participated in the service. Blake & Cole are not about getting attention, but their parents have always made sure each is properly celebrated individually — like 2 birthday cakes and 2 birthday songs at their parties growing up. Despite the laid-back energy of this whole wonderful family, it turns out they know how to throw a wild party. We all had a blast.
